I love seeing stories that involve student decision making in things that impact the school. Every time I hear about something like this, my mind starts to wander…

‘Wouldn’t it be cool to do a school survey?’ ‘What if there were some grade level math lessons?’ ‘Could they do some persuasive writing pieces related to the new equipment?’

Sounds like there was def some input on the voting which is cool! I just love any chance we can give students to think in someone else’s shoes and take part in school wide choices.
